Aufbau Principle create caustic and doomed post-punk. Taking influence from the early 80’s dark Manchester sound as well as gothic cinema Aufbau Principle create music from the shards of broken relationships, doomed cityscapes and existential nightmares.
This dark-wave duo creates a compelling dystopian analogue soundscape straight from the northern industrial heartland. A synthesis of resonant vocals, mournful minimalism and brutalist bass, the State’s sound is inspired by modern legend and ancient lore.
A Glasgow-based live video artist and videomaker, producing densely filtered analogue textures from source video and a variety of modular effects. She will be providing live visuals for the bands throughout the evening.
