SOFT RIOT
On Glasgow’s Possession Records , Soft Riot is JJD, a Glasgow-based Canadian who released numerous albums and toured off to locations all over Europe and parts of North America over the past 10-15 years. With fans tucked into many corners of the globe, Soft Riot is also an outsider staple in the local scene. With his new album Crux out in May 2026, this is a slightly delayed, local release show for that album.
Soft Riot‘s sound — after much deliberation — can be described as “synthesizer-based electronic post-punk”, as his writing approach comes from a punk/hardcore background and pulls in elements from numerous darker electronic genres including synth pop, italo, EBM, art rock and more.

DER BÜROKRAT
Der Bürokrat is the necessary collision of two pivotal trajectories within the European underground, joining together Ben (France) — the sonic architect behind the electro-dark cult duo Hammershøi — and Jules (Italy) from the Florence-based electro punk-ebm collective of Zona Utopica Garantita (ZUG). This is a first joint bill with Soft Riot and Der Bürokrat, who will be touring select locations in Europe later this year. The duo have recently released their début album on the Turin-based DIY synth label, Stanze Fredde.

INVISIBLE LOGIC
Invisible Logic is a solo project from Glasgow musician Ian Van Bass, using a mix of modern and vintage hardware to create evocative, sparse, and moody electronic music. The name was taken from a 1980s art magazine, reflecting Ian’s love for the control that MIDI and machines can offer. Inspired by DIY cassette culture, minimal wave and post-punk electronic music, the music has a cold edge with catchy melodies and lyrics. Themes of loss, solitude and isolation appear throughout.
DAVE NULL VOID
With strong ties to the Glasgow dark synth/EBM scene based on the regular night Null/Void that ran in the late 2010s, that club’s mastermind Dave Graham has played alongside the likes of Keepsakes, Christina Sealey of Orphx, DJ Andi of Synthicide (NYC) and JD Twitch of Optimo, and put on international live guests such as Multiple Man, Celldod, Autumns and Qual.
